How to Pray the Rosary
(Step-by-Step)
1. Start with the Sign of the Cross
“In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
2. Apostles’ Creed (on the cross)
“I believe in God, the Father almighty…”
(This is your statement of faith.)
3. Our Father (first bead)
“Our Father, who art in heaven…”
4. 3 Hail Marys (next 3 beads)
“Hail Mary, full of grace…”
(Usually for faith, hope, and love.)
5. Glory Be
“Glory be to the Father…”
6. Announce the First Mystery
(Example: “The Annunciation”)
Take a second to reflect on it.
7. On the big bead:
Say an Our Father
8. On the 10 small beads:
Say 10 Hail Marys
(While thinking about the mystery)
9. After the 10 Hail Marys:
Say:
Glory Be
Fatima Prayer:
“O my Jesus, forgive us our sins…”
10. Repeat Steps 6–9 for all 5 Mysteries
The Mysteries by Day
(You don’t have to follow this exactly, but it helps)
Monday & Saturday – Joyful
Tuesday & Friday – Sorrowful
Wednesday & Sunday – Glorious
Thursday – Luminous
The Vibe (this part matters more than perfection)
You don’t have to rush or get every word perfect. The Rosary is more about:
Slowing down
Talking to God
Finding peace
Feeling guided and protected
May every prayer shared here remind you that you are never alone.
